Open letter to current and future Industry Council Members
Hello, thanks for landing here and taking a moment to learn about the benefits of joining the first industry council supporting the advancement of human capital and jobs through the next generation of hiring.
My name is Brad Zirulnik and I’m the chief evangelist and co-founder of SkillBank. Our Industry Council is the first and only entity devoted to, and explicitly focused on, the role Competencies play in the future of work and the shaping of talent globally. The Council is a community of influential practitioners and people leaders from various public and private sectors embracing the approach that Competencies form bridges between jobs and industries—unlocking a vast landscape of economic opportunity for businesses and people.
As the world of work evolves, a deep understanding of these bridges becomes essential knowledge towards growing and fixing hiring on a global scale. At SkillBank, we believe that the optimal place to kickoff a competency-based hiring journey is with recruiting and TA teams. At the same time, we embrace and support council members that want to leverage SkillBank technology in ways that best serve them, their constituents, and their respective organizations.
Our goals together
In partnership with you, our goal is to not only raise trust and awareness for competency-centric paradigms and their intrinsic value to solve hard problems, but to build an open, diverse, and thriving community as we take our Competency Insight Platform to market.
To accomplish this, the only rule we have is to be awesome and nice. In exchange, members that contribute their knowledge, expertise, and opinions about the formation of our community–including product feedback and input–will benefit the most by creating a longer term opportunity with our team directly.
